Women’s WorldTour. L’Italienne Elisa Longo Borghini (Wiggle-High5), qui n’est pas rentrée dans les points hier en attaquant dans les vingt derniers kilomètres puis en travaillant dans le final pour Jolien D’Hoore, conserve la tête du Women’s WorldTour après quatre épreuves. Elena Cecchini (Canyon-SRAM), 9ème à Wevelgem, revient à 5 points de sa compatriote. L’Américaine Coryn Rivera (Team Sunweb) arrive sur le podium toute près des deux Transalpines. Cecilie Uttup Ludwig (Cervélo-Bigla) porte quant à elle toujours le maillot bleu ciel de meilleure Espoir. L’Anglaise Alice Barnes (Drops Cycling Team) se rapproche néanmoins de la Danoise.

Enfin, c’est la grosse bagarre par équipes où la Wiggle-High5, grâce à Jolien D’Hoore, prend les commandes mais dans un mouchoir de poche. En effet, les trois premières équipes (Wiggle-High5, Boels-Dolmans et la Team Sunweb) se tiennent maintenant en 6 points avant la prochaine manche, le Tour des Flandres, qui aura lieu dès dimanche prochain autour d’Oudenaarde !

Grand-Prix Crevoisier. Elisa Balsamo (Valcar PBM) a remporté hier en Suisse le Grand-Prix Crevoisier – Tour de la Courtine (1.N) disputé autour des Genevez dans le canton du Jura. L’Italienne, championne du Monde Juniors en titre, a devancé au sprint sa coéquipière Silvia Persico et la Française Marine Strappazzon (VC Morteau-Montbenoit).
